Palgrave Gardening Group

The Gardening Club wound up after the pandemic. It was a vibrant group that carried out many projects within Palgrave, enhancing the community in many ways.

There were many memorable visits over the years, amongst them those that stand out are our trips to Buckingham Palace, Beth Chatto’s Garden, Dale Farm at Dereham and Batteley’s Cottage & Howard Nurseries - both at Wortham.

In 2011/2012 the Garden Group was instrumental in restoring the village pond which had become sadly overgrown and from some angles was quite invisible. It is now an asset to the village (see below)
