Pace, the company who submitted the planning application etc, have been replaced by PS Renewables (PSR) who state they are one of the largest renewable energy development and construction companies within the United Kingdom. Our Parish Liaison Group are holding regular meetings with PSR.

Full planning permissison was granted in November 2023. You can read the full planning approval decision should you so wish. 

Construction of the first phase began in October 2025, with the major construction started in January 2026. They plan to be operational by October 2026 but the commissioning phase will then take several months to complete so the fiest full export of power is not expected to take place until April 2027.
